THE FRAGRANCE
“mat;” encapsulates the perfect reflection of a post-modern style, transcending time. Transparent and pure, it embodies the essence of a unique scent that emerges from one’s self-consciousness—invisible yet undeniably present.
Fresh, impertinent notes dance at the top of the fragrance, while a reassuringly floral transparency unfolds in its heart, culminating in a base of zen Crystal Musk.
The top note boasts an inventive blend, marrying the wisdom of ancestral Bamboo’s green aquatic freshness with the impertinent explosion of Mango pulp, inspiring further exploration into the world of “mat;”. The fragrance transitions with Juniper Berry, Watermelon, and Parsley Leaf accords leading to a floral heart where fruity, aquatic, and green facets blend harmoniously with Tea Leaves, Lotus Flower, and Mint. Symbolizing purity and life source in Japanese philosophy, the Lotus Flower is enriched by White Rose and Jasmine Water’s subtle sensuality. The dry-down of Reed Wood and Crystal Musk creates a soft, reassuring, and positive signature.

THE CONCEPT
The very first Masaki fragrance. Impeccably reflecting a post-modern aesthetic, “mat;” exudes timelessness. It’s a fragrance that’s both transparent and pure, a unique olfactory expression stemming from one’s innermost consciousness. Though invisible, its presence is undeniable, existing in a realm of its own.
Rooted in purity despite its urban vibe, “mat;” exudes a clinical yet natural aura, amplifying one’s individuality. It’s an urban scent with a distinctive edge, for someone who’s deeply connected to themself and the world around them, one who seeks to define their own style without adhering to any set rules.
